Submission Guidelines
When Submitting a Design:
Send a clear, color photograph of the project(s). Please include a brief materials list and description. (If accepted, detailed instructions will be requested.)
Please include your name, address, email address (if you have one), and phone number.
Please include a SASE for a reply to your submission.
Please DO NOT SEND actual project or design, as we cannot return it to you.

Pack-o-Fun is looking for Arts & Craft projects that are:
- Easy to make
- Made from recyclable or low-cost materials
- Group activities for scouts, religious education classes, or elementary school classrooms
- Intended to help teach a curriculum-based concept within science or math through constructive creating (for our Surrounded By Science regular feature)
- Paired with a children's picture book to help reiterate the story, theme, or main character (for our Literature Lift Off regular feature)
- Focused on a particular fine arts technique (painting, ceramics, drawing, etc.), famous artist, or period of time in art history to help teach fine arts concepts to a group (for our Art Smarts regular feature)
- Cultural crafts or those that focus on an ethnic tradition or holiday
- Themed around national, school, and religious holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, President's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, etc.
- Gift ideas for parents, teachers, friends, grandparents, or siblings made from low-cost materials
Policies
We buy ALL RIGHTS which means the right to publish the article in printed form, to publish the article through the Internet on our web site (www.pack-o-fun.com) and in any other derivative works. You must warrant that you are the sole owner of the project, that it is original, that it does not infringe upon the copyrights of any other person, and that is has never been previously published in any form.
Design fees are based on quality, originality, craftsmanship, and appeal.
Fees range from $25 to $150 per design.
Upon acceptance, the Editor will be in contact regarding instructions, materials list, and project. A contract will be mailed upon final acceptance by the Editor. Due to efficiency measures, projects cannot be returned upon publication. After publication, three complimentary copies of the issue in which the project is published will be sent to the designer.
